<![CDATA[Ecommerce Platform - Scheduled Maintenance]]> Update 04 Apr 12 9:12 AM -

The scheduled maintenance completed last night as planned and we thank our Ecommerce customers for their patience during this work.



From 01:00 till 04:00 in the early hours of Wednesday 4th April, we will be performing some key maintenance operations on our Ecommerce platform.

During this time, all Ecommerce websites will display a message that the shop is closed for maintenance.

<![CDATA[Scheduled Maintenance: Thursday 22nd March]]> Update 23 Mar 12 9:24 AM -

The maintenance completed last night but it did take longer than expected to complete so some customers' services may have been affected for longer than the five minutes we originally advised.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.



We will be conducting some routine maintenance operations on our shared Linux and Windows web hosting clusters.

The work will be commencing at 23:00 on Thursday 22nd March and may result in two short outages of up to five minutes each for Windows and Linux hosted websites.

<![CDATA[VPS Hosting - Service Degradation Notification]]> Update 12 Mar 12 9:10 AM -

Following successful installation of the new node overnight, we have been carefully monitoring performance and now believe this issue is fully resolved.

We apologise again for any inconvenience this may have caused.



Update 3:07 PM -

The new node has been physically installed and is now being configured and extensively tested in preparation for deployment.

We are not yet in a position to offer a firm ETA but are continuing to work as speedily as possible to restore full service.



Update 12:21 PM -

Work is continuing on the installation and configuration of a replacement node. We thank affected customers for their patience and understanding whilst we work to resolve this.



Update 11:40 AM -

This issue is related to a fault on a VPS node in the data centre. Our engineers are en-route to the data centre and intend to replace this faulty node as soon as possible.



Some customers with a Virtual Private Server (VPS) may find that some websites hosted on this are unresponsive. Additionally, the Plesk control panel may be unresponsive as well.

Our system engineers are investigating this as a priority and we would like to offer our apologies to affected customers for any inconvenience this may be causing.

Our engineers have now resolved the issue that some of our customers were experiencing with receiving emails.

Some customers may be finding that people sending emails to them are receiving bouncebacks and the email is not being delivered.

We are looking into this issue and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.

<![CDATA[Email auto responder issue]]> We are currently seeing issues arising from the setting of auto responders, some customers may be finding that emails delivered to accounts with this facility enabled may be returning a bounce message indicating a failed delivery. Please note that despite the failed delivery message being generated these messages are still being delivered.

We're looking into this as a priority and aim to have this resolved as soon as possible.

We recommend that affected customers disable the autoresponder on the mailbox(es) until this issue is fully resolved.

<![CDATA[MySQL Database - mysql5.namesco.net]]> Some customers may intermittently experience delays accessing their MySQL Databases for administration purposes on our Shared Hosting Platform. The delay may be experienced when connecting to the MYSQL database Servers either as a User or Administrator.

Our system engineers are currently upgrading our MYSQL hardware and we anticipate that the intermittent issues that you may have experienced will be resolved once this upgrade has completed.

Please accept our apologies for any issues you may have experienced and be reassured that we have identified this upgrade as the highest priority with our engineers.
